Iliffe News and Media offers new video ad service

18 May 2011

Iliffe News and Media, owner of the Cambridge News, is offering advertisers a new online video service as it looks to boost its digital ad sales revenues. The publisher, which claims its 24 websites attract a monthly audience of more than 850,000 unique visitors, has struck up a partnership with online video advertising company Localstars.

The deal means Iliffe’s sales teams will be able to use Localstars’ advertising platform and video library to create 15-second branded video ads and display ads for their clients.

Andy Gough, managing director of Iliffe Digital, said: “The new Localstars solution lets us automate the creation of powerful video advertising. It gives advertisers on our leading web sites an exciting new format that really resonates with their target audiences, and provides us with a way of increasing digital revenue.”
